Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains how Filli S.r.l. uses cookies and similar technologies on the Dear Pieces website, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job in a different way. In this policy we call all of them cookies.
Some cookies are needed for a website to work. Others are used to measure traffic or to show advertising. Under the GDPR, the ePrivacy rules and the guidelines of the Italian data protection authority, the first kind does not need your consent, while the others do.
Cookies we use now
At the moment we use only technical cookies, which are needed for the site and the puzzle creator to work. They do not track you across other websites and do not require your consent:
- Shopping cart (dp:cart, local storage): remembers the puzzles in your cart. Kept until you empty the cart or clear your browser data.
- Discount code (dp:cart-code, local storage): remembers a code you entered in the cart. Kept until you remove it or clear your browser data.
- Sign-in (dp:signup:email and dp:signup:return, local storage): remember your email address and the page to return to while you complete a sign-in link. Removed when you finish signing in.
- Account session (Firebase Authentication, IndexedDB): keeps you signed in, including with the anonymous account that saves the puzzle you are creating. Kept until you sign out or clear your browser data.
- Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its sign-in page.
- Payments: Stripe sets cookies on its checkout page to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies yet. We may add them later, for example PostHog to understand how the site is used and the Meta Pixel to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Before we do, we will update this page with each cookie's name, provider, purpose and duration, and show a banner that lets you accept or refuse them. Non-essential cookies will be set only after you accept them, refusing them will be as easy as accepting them, and you will be able to change your choice at any time.
Third-party cookies
Cookies set by Google and Stripe on their own pages are governed by their privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy and stripe.com/privacy). We do not control them.
How to control cookies
You can delete stored cookies and block new ones in your browser settings. If you block technical cookies, parts of the site will not work: for example, your cart will not be saved and you will not be able to stay signed in or keep the puzzle you are creating.
